Double Faced Dyad
Premiere - BC BUDS Arts Festival 2014
Stepsisters meets pole dancing meets avatar.
Double Faced Dyad is a mystical exploration of opposites inspired by Roman mythology and the mysteries of dicephaly. The Roman God Janus – the God of doorways and polarities - is most commonly depicted as two faced with one looking to the past and one looking to the future. Thinking, breathing, growing, dancing, and sentenced to an eternity of dependence. We live above you, we look down upon you. We’re hiding, can you find us?
